I've taken two checkrides with Mr. Strange now. My private and my Comm Multi. He is an extremely fair examiner. He understands that we aren't perfect, and being in that testing environment is stressful, so he gives you every opportunity to pass. If you fail a checkride with him, you failed yourself and really didn't know your stuff, and probably weren't adequately prepared for your ride.
