You can browse our instructors on the Find Instructors page, view their profiles and schedules, and schedule a lesson directly. Simply click "Schedule Lesson" on any instructor's profile to see available time slots.

Do I need any equipment for online lessons?

Most ground school and oral prep lessons only require a computer with a webcam. For simulator-based lessons, your instructor will let you know what software or setup is recommended. A headset with a microphone is recommended for all lessons.

Can I cancel or reschedule a lesson?

Yes, you can cancel or reschedule lessons up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to the instructor's cancellation policy. Please check with your instructor for specific details.

What if I'm a beginner?

Many of our instructors offer lessons for all skill levels, including beginners. Look for lessons labeled "Beginner-Friendly" or "All Levels." You can also filter instructors by experience level when browsing.

How does live streaming work?

Live lessons are conducted through our secure video platform. After booking, you'll receive a confirmation email with a link to join the lesson. Simply click the link a few minutes before lesson time, and you'll be connected with your instructor and fellow students in real-time.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal. Payments are processed securely through our encrypted payment system. You can purchase individual lessons or save with lesson packages.

Can I rent out my aircraft on AviPrep?

Yes. Listing is free: you set the hourly rate, availability, and checkout requirements, and you approve every pilot before they fly. Renters are charged automatically after each flight for actual hobbs time, and the rental lands in your payout account. Visit List Your Aircraft to get started.

Who can book my aircraft?

Only pilots you approve: credential-verified CFIs, private pilots whose certificates we've reviewed, and any renters you invite yourself with a shareable link. You can require a checkout flight first and revoke access at any time.

Can I rent an aircraft as a private pilot?

Yes. Set your certificate level on your dashboard and upload your pilot certificate for a quick review, or accept an invite link from an aircraft owner you already rent from. Once approved on an aircraft, you book directly and pay after each flight for the time you actually flew.

Can CFIs book aircraft for personal flying?

Yes. CFIs approved on an owner-network aircraft can book it for lessons with a student or for their own flying, like proficiency or currency. The owner is notified automatically and payment runs on actual hobbs time.
