First, Don't bother showing up in an aircraft equipped with a G1000. He doesn't believe in the advances of modern technology. Plus, he doesn't know how they work anyway. He suggested that I fly VORs if my screens go black. Well guess what, if my screens go black, I have lost everything except Altitude, Airspeed, Attitude, and a Mag Compass... AND DO NOT MENTION FOREFLIGHT!! That is straight sorcery to him!!!
