Had my checkride with Mark in Lakeland a few days ago. He was totally professional and incredibly patient. Seems to be a very calm person which helped me be very relaxed. Spent almost two hours with me afterwards giving me some pointers and helped me start a Wings account on FAA site. Didn't act like he was in it for the bucks.

Very safe, patient and kind. Just seems like a good person who is a DPE for the love of flying and sharing that love and his extensive knowledge rather than as a job. My CFI, who also has thousands of hours flying, said he never met a more thorough examiner. He spent a lot of time debriefing after the exam was completed that went above and beyond, and I learned a lot from him about being a safer pilot. A day well-spent!

I took my Initial Commercial Multi-engine check ride as well as my Commercial Single Engine Add on check ride with Examiner Ducorsky and all I can say is that this is by far one of the best examiners out there. Mark is very professional, patient and does whatever he can to help ease check ride nerves to make you comfortable as he has been in your shoes. You can tell that Mark does this for his love of aviation and can tell by his extensive knowledge. He is very thorough and very calm. One of the best things I enjoy about the check rides with Mark is the debriefing afterwords because that is when he gives his input and uses his years of being a pilot to pass on knowledge as well as pointers to you to make you a better and safer pilot. A perfect example is how he did not hesitate to help me out with setting up a Wings account. If you can take a check ride with Mark I would highly recommend it. There is a lot you can learn after the check ride is over about how to continue to grow and become a better and safer pilot.

I took my Private Multiengine land, Commercial Multiengine and Commercial Single Engine land rating with DPE Mark Ducorsky. During the course of the 3 Check-rides, Mark has been nothing but an amazing examiner, going above and beyond expectations.

I took my private check ride with mark, and did not pass my first time but he showed me where I messed up and when I came back the following week I did great. He’s a nice person and will tell you what you did wrong so you can improve and will also praise you for what you did right. I’ll be coming back to Mark for my instrument.
